Third Year Students from the Health & Leisure Outdoor programme are undertaking a 10 day expedition inside the Arctic Circle.

On the expedition they will camp and live in sub 0°c temperatures undertaking long distance skiing most days in artic conditions. This expedition is a once in a life time opportunity for students as they experience camping under the northern lights and experiencing life in a tough, wild and testing environment.

During the expedition, students will gain valuable experiences and develop new skills that will stand to them later in their careers. They will also be linking up with students from Leuven in Belgium.

Prior to departure, students had to train and plan for their expedition.
